Zooming and panning

- [Instructor] The drawing tools in AutoCAD for Mac are designed to allow you to draft your objects in full one-to-one scale. As such, working in a space is that almost infinite means you need to master moving around, which we accomplish by panning and zooming. Panning is similar to other programs and is signified with a small gloved hand and can be called on from the View menu found here. The normal Pan tool is called real-time panning. It simply lets you click, and then drag your cursor around the screen in order to pan in real time. This does not affect your actual geometry of the drawing in any way and is only for changing your view of the geometry. On devices with a track pad, you can use two fingers to pan around your drawing. Or, if you're using a mouse with a wheel, you can click and hold the wheel like a button to pan around your drawing.
