- [Narrator] So what should you know before you start working in this AutoCAD working with drawings exported from Revit course. Well, really you should have a good working knowledge of AutoCAD. Now in order to get that, one of the best things I could suggest is that you go and look at one of my other courses. AutoCAD 2018 Essential Training. That'll take you through all of the essentials you need to know about AutoCAD so that you maybe understand some of the terminology and methodologies that we use in this particular course. Now it might be worth also going and looking at the Revit Essential Training on the website as well. That's entirely up to you, I will take you through all of the particular parts of Revit that you do need to know though in order to export out a drawing from Revit in to AutoCAD so that you can use these drawings in AutoCAD as well. Also be aware that I will be using the latest versions of both pieces of software. So I'll be using Revit 2018, I'll also be using AutoCAD 2018 so, check out the courses, check out your software versions to make sure that you're using the same software versions that I'm using obviously to create this course for you.
