- [Instructor] Unlike zooming and panning in two dimensions as we have so far, to start drawing in 3D, we need to get comfortable navigating in three dimensions. We have a few tools that will make this a little bit easier and the most prominent of which is the view cube seen here in the top right corner. As we hover over it, we can see different parts highlight and we can use these points as reference points. I'm going to click on front here and we can see that I'm rotated around into a front orthographic view. I'll click on the top right corner here and now I have a more axonometric view. We can click on any part of the view cube to view this from different edges and different aspects. I also have the option of clicking and dragging on the view cube itself. This is called orbiting, but there are easier ways of getting into this tool, one of which is to come up to View, Orbit, and then click on Free Orbit.
