- [Instructor] Unlike zooming and panning in two dimensions, as we have so far, to start drawing in 3D, we need to get comfortable navigating in 3D. There are a few tools to make this a little bit easier. The most prominent is the ViewCube seen here in the upper right corner. As we hover over it, we can see different parts of the cube illuminate. This let's me know that I can click on them, and AutoCAD will adjust my view. I can click on any edge, face, or corner in order to view the model in that direction. I can also click and drag on the ViewCube in order to spin it around. I have some additional views here that I can jump to, like southwest isometric, northeast isometric, top, and so on. Another way of getting around the view is using the orbital, which is found here under View, Orbit. I have two types, Constrained and Free Orbit. These allow me to simply spin the model around in any direction that I like.…
