Viewport layers

- [Instructor] In a previous video, we discussed layer states, the ability to turn layers on and off in mass to restore a specific view. This allows us to stack geometry on top of other geometry to help curtail issues and errors in the future. Fortunately, viewports support a feature that allows us to turn on or off layers in a specific viewport without affecting the layers' on or off state in the rest of the drawing. This means a layer like first floor windows can be on in one viewport and off in another viewport where it's not needed. So I'm going to make sure that my viewport layer is active, and I'm going to go ahead and create a viewport. Go ahead and create one here. And I'm actually going to create another one. View, Viewports, and I'm going to create that one right about here. So, if I double-click inside of my viewport here, I have a couple different options.
