Viewport basics

- [Instructor] Now that we have our layout created, we have our design over here in model space. We need to go ahead and create some view ports. We got to go up to the view menu, come down to view ports, and find one view port. And I'm going to go ahead and draw a rectangle right about there, and we can see that it's created a view port that's looking at all of my model space. So, I'm going to double-click inside the view port, and now I can pan and zoom around to set the view that I want, in this case, looking at the top view of the collar. Once I've got it pretty close to being set, we got to go ahead and double-click outside, select the view port, and then I need to set the scale. I can either do this down here in the status bar, or I can do it using the little down arrow grip that we see right here. This particular case, I'm going to do a one to one, and that looks pretty good. So we can see it's slightly enlarged…
