- [Announcer] Application preferences is similar to the options menu in the Windows version of AutoCAD. We'll find the dialogue box here under AutoCAD preferences. This allows you to control user-specific preferences like the look and feel, as well as where the application looks for information to run. I'm not going to bore you with going over every single option, but there are a few I want to highlight and a few I want to change for ease of use, going forward. If you have natural scrolling turned on on your Mac, you can reverse the scrolling direction of AutoCAD for Mac here to make it a bit more comfortable. If you have a mouse with a wheel or a Magic Mouse, rolling the wheel forward and back or moving your finger up and down on the Magic Mouse, just like scrolling on a webpage, will allow you to zoom in and out of your drawing.
