Understanding polylines

- [Instructor] Another object you will use in AutoCAD for Mac is the polyline tool. This is a connected sequence of segments which can include lines and arcs. Polylines are unique and make use of some special properties that we can take advantage of later. Polylines can be created as a command on their own but they are also created by some other commands that we'll look at in a moment. Namely the rectangle and polygon tools. Polylines can also be created by joining separate arcs and lines, but we'll address that in a later video. For now, let's find the polyline command in the drafting tool palette on the draw panel right here next to the line tool. I'm going to pick a point out here in space and then drag my cursor out. As I mentioned a moment ago, polylines can contain both lines and arcs. So I'm given the option to start with an arc instead of the default line tool. Again, always read the command line. I'm going to enter four and then tab over to the angle and enter a value of 75…
