Understanding polylines

- Another object you will use in AutoCAD for Mac is a polyline. This is a connected sequence of segments, which could include lines or lines and arcs. Polylines are unique and make use of some special properties that we can take advantage of. Polylines can be created either as a command on their own, but they are also created by some other commands we will look at in a moment, namely the rectangle and the polygon tools. Polylines can be also created by joining arcs and lines, but we'll address that in a later video. For now, let's go find the polyline command under the Drafting tool set, here in the Draw palette. I'm going to click my starting point right about here, and we can see that I'm immediately given a myriad of options.
