Selection methods
- [Instructor] So far, when selecting objects, we've done it one by one, clicking on each object that we've wanted to select. There are, however, a number of methods for selecting objects at the same time. Two of these and the most common two are known as the selection window and a crossing window. The selection window are always drawn from left to right, and they're identified by a blue fill in a solid line. I'm going to click here and release my cursor, and then drag it over to the right. It doesn't matter if I move my cursor up or down as long as I'm moving from left to right. And here I am creating a selection window. The selection window only selects objects that are completely inside of the window that we are creating. In this case, we can see that it's only selecting the two circles, as those are the only two objects completely enclosed inside the window. If I drag my cursor up just a little bit, as soon as any…
