Saving as a template

- [Instructor] Now that we have everything ready to go, including our layers, units, limits, title block and page set up, I'm going to go up to file, and save as. I'm going to change this file type to template and as soon as I do, we can see that AutoCAD knows I want this to be a template file and it will change this to the template file location. It is important to do this first, setting the file type, because when you choose template, the file location is automatically changed by AutoCAD for Mac to the default template file location. Now this may or may not be where you want to save your template file, but as soon as you make the switch, AutoCAD redirects you to that location anyway. So, if I were to choose the location first and then choose the file type, I just have to change the location again after AutoCAD for Mac switches it. So, don't waste your time.
