- [Narrator] Another feature…recently added by AutoCAD for Mac…is the Quick Select tool.…Quick Select is a filtering tool that allows you to pick…geometry in your drawing based on specific criteria.…I can use Quick Select tool to find objects…like all of the lines that are red.…Or maybe all of the blue poly lines.…Or in my case, I want to find all of the green circles…that have a radius bigger than two.…The tool is found here in the tool bar.…And the first thing it want to know…is where is should confine the search too.…
I can either search the entire drawing…or I can choose a specific selection set to filter through.…Next, my criteria needs to match all the following rules.…In this case, I'm only looking for circles…so I'm going to change the object type from everything…to circle.…We can see I'm left with seven objects.…But I need to continue on and further hone down my search.…So, I'm going to click the little dots here…and add some more parameters.…Again, I said I wanted the color to be green…so I'm going to make sure that that's selected here.…
