- [Instructor] We've already created Polylines using tools like Rectangle and Polygon as well as the Polyline tool itself. But now we should take a look at the Polylines and see how we can better understand to modify them. I'm going to select my rectangle here and we can see that right now it's a closed polyline. It's made up of smaller line segments that share vertices. We can select these in grips here and drag them around to stretch our shape. We're left with still a single polyline, but we're no longer left with a Rectangle, so I'm going to undo and I'm going to select the shape again, but this time instead of the end points, I'm going to grab the mid point grips here and stretch them up. We're left with something that kind of looks like a Parallelogram, but if I hold down the Shift Key on my keyboard, that locks me in orthographically vertically so I can maintain the fact that this is a Rectangle.
