Points

- [Instructor] Points are a bit of an interesting geometric object to have in AutoCad for Mac. They're often overlooked, but they can be extremely helpful in specifying reference points or even using them to mark up things. If I type point out on the command line and press Return, I can click out here in space, and we can see that I am given just that: a small dot on the screen. However, we do have a little bit of control over how these points are displayed. I'll go up to Format, Point Style, and here we can see I'm given a myriad of different options on how I want to display my point. Remember that points have no length or width. So this is just a visual representation of the point for my own purposes. I'm going to choose this one here, and we can control how big the point symbol is on the screen. I'm going to leave mine at 5% of my current screen size and click OK. And now we have a much easier to see representation…
