- Now that we have our template set up all of our dimensions and all of our text placed it's time to start plotting our drawing. Let's take a look at some of the basic settings. We'll go to file, print and here we have the basic plot dialog box. I typically approach this from top down so we'll start at the very top. If you already have a page setup you can choose it from here but if not we can just start with the printer. If you have any physical printers installed they will show up here otherwise you can use any of the virtual printers that install with AutoCAD for Mac. I'm going to use AutoCAD PDF general documentation to get started with. For paper size, if you have a physical printer this will only show the physical pieces of paper that your printer can print on. However because this is a virtual printer, we can choose pretty much any size paper that we like. I'm going to choose ANSI full-bleed A as seen here.…
