- I mentioned in a previous video…that AutoCAD for Mac allows us to plot…directly to a PDF file.…This is very handy,…especially as we move into a paper-free world.…I'll go up to File, and Print.…Make sure that my paper size is set.…And I can go down here to Print Preview.…Print Preview actually creates…a temporary PDF file…of a preview of my drawing.…The other option is to go down here to PDF,…which is available in all Mac OS X printing applications.…
From here, I have again,…opened my PDF in Preview,…which is the same as clicking the button here.…I can also save directly as a PDF,…add a PDF directly to my iBooks account,…mail the PDF,…or even send the PDF directly via Messages.…I'm gonna click Save as PDF,…and save it as Lynda Plot 1,…here in my Plotting & Sharing exercise folder.…I'll click Save,…and AutoCAD creates the PDF for me.…
I wanna look at one other option,…and that includes exporting your files…directly as a PDF.…Again, I'm gonna save this directly…in the Plotting & Sharing folder.…And I'm gonna call this Lynda Plot 2.…
