Panning

- [Instructor] Panning refers to moving your view of the screen without changing your zoom level and to be clear, we're only moving our view of the screen. None of the objects are changing their position just our view of them. Like zooming, panning is an important part of navigating your drawing and also like zooming, there are a number of ways of accomplishing it. Under view, pan, we can see a few different options. Zoom real time turns our cursor into a small hand and I can left click and drag to move my view around the screen. Point is similar but a little bit more precise and allows me to pick specific points on my screen to pan to and from. The directional pans here simply nudge your drawing in one direction by a specific amount. However, like zooming you can also use the wheel mouse to pan, simply click on a wheel on your two button mouse just like a button and you can drag your cursor around the screen.
