Page setup - AutoCAD for Mac Tutorial
From the course: Learning AutoCAD for Mac 2019
Page setup
- [Instructor] AutoCAD has quite a few tools to help us automate printing, but most of them start with a good page setup. A page setup is created for each layout and stores things like default plotter, page size, scale, and plot styles, that way you don't have to set these every single time you need to go print something. Or if you're running through anything like batch plotting or printing a sheet set, you'll need that page setup information in order to print the page properly. To access the page setups, we'll go to file, page setup manager, and from here, we can see all of the page setups that we've created. In this case, none. We'll click the plus to add a new one, and we're simply going to call this page setup 1, and click continue. From here, we can see that this looks exactly like the plot dialog box. We have all the same settings so we can save all of these settings in our page setup so we don't have to set them in the future. We'll choose our printer, choose our paper size…
