Opening files

- [Instructor] Opening existing files is fairly straightforward. We can go to File, and click on Open. We can also use Command + O or we can type Open, down here in the Command Prompt. Here, I can choose which file types I'd like to open, and also navigate to favorites that are setup in Mac OS. I can also change the views in order to better see the files. I can use thumbnail view here, to make sure that I'm opening the correct file. I can also access recently opened files by going to File, and hovering over Open Recent. This will show me the last 15 files that I've had open. A tip for power users, if you're trying to open a file or another drawing file that exists in the same directory as the one that you're already working in, you can Right Click here on the drawing name at the very top of the screen. This shows you the entire folder hierarchy for that specific DWG file, and you can go back as far as you like, to open a new Finder window to that exact location. Alternatively, you can…
