Opening files

- [Instructor] Opening a file is fairly straightforward. And like anything else in AutoCAD for Mac there are many ways of accomplishing it. I can go up to file, and click open. I can hold Command + O, as shown here. I can go down to open recent, and I will see the last 15 recent files that were opened. I can also click on the icon here in the tool bar. Or I can type in open in the command line and then press Return. All of these will take you to the same display. From here I can choose which file types I'd like to display. And then navigate to whatever folder my files are stored in. I can use any favorites that I've set in macOS's Finder sidebar. And I can change my view here. Using the icon view gives me a small preview of each of the files. As a tip for power users, most firms store drawing files in a project folder with other project information, like spec documents, other drawings and photos of the site or other…
