Object snap tracking
- [Instructor] In my next exercise, I want to draw a circle that is aligned with the top point of my triangle and the right midpoint of the rectangle, here. So, it should be somewhere around here. In order to do this right now, I need to draw two construction lines. Draw one up from here. Enter: enter gets me back in the line command. And one from the midpoint. Straight over, enter. Now I can grab my circle, go find the intersection, right about there, and draw my circle. Now I need to erase my construction lines. I'll select those and hit delete on my keyboard. And there we are. This was fairly tedious, and it seems like a lot of unnecessary steps for such a simple task. This is where Object Snap Tracking comes in. Object Snap Tracking allows me to hover over my object snap points and track or project orthographic lines from those points. I'm going to erase my circle.
