- [Man] Now that we have all of our components created, including the floor plan, the elevations, and the section view, I want to set up our named views. So these are going to help us not only in working back and forth in our drawing itself, but also they're going to help us when we have to insert these into our layouts later. So to create a new view, we'll go find the icon here in the toolbar called New View. You can also type in "new view" down in the command line as we can see here. So for the first view name, I'm just going to call this "Plan" and then we have the option of either choosing the current display, which would be everything, or we can define a specific window, which what I want to do. I'm going to come up here and I want to create this view just around my floor plan here. That gives us a little preview, if we're happy with that, we can just hit enter.
