Move

- The move command is about as straightforward a command as you're going to find in AutoCAD. Like most commands, it doesn't really matter if you have your object selected first and then invoke the command or if you select them after entering the command. This is called command transparency. The command is found here on the modify tool set. I'll select it and then I can go and select my objects. I want to move this square so that the top right corner coincides with the bottom left corner of this square over here. So, I'm going to select my object and then I'm going to press return. This lets AutoCAD know I'm done selecting objects and I'm ready to move them and now AutoCAD is asking me for a base point. Because this is the corner I want to use to end up on top of this corner, I'm going to use this as my base point. I'll click and then I can drag it over to the point where I want it to coincide with.
