- [Instructor] The Move command is about as straight forward a command as you're going to find in AutoCAD for Mac. Like most commands, it doesn't matter if you select your objects first, and then evoke the command, or if you select them after entering the command. This is called Command Transparency. A command is found here on the Modified Tool panel. I'm going to select the objects, in this case, this square here, and then press Return. This lets AutoCAD know that I'm done selecting objects for the selection set, and I'm ready to move them. Now, AutoCAD is asking me for a base point. I want to move the square so that this upper left corner here, coincidences with the lower right corner of the square here. So, this going to be my base point.
