Modifying objects

- [Instructor] We can't always create the objects that we need perfectly the first time. We need ways of editing and manipulating the geometry, and AutoCAD for Mac provides a full set of tools to get the job done. Let's take a look at five of the most common tools, namely Move, Copy, Rotate, Scale, and Stretch. We should find almost all of these here under the Modify panel on the Drafting tool set. The first one that I'll tackle is Move, which we'll find here. Select the tool, and we're asked to select our objects. We can continue selecting objects one-by-one, just by clicking on them. And we can see that they are highlighted, and become a little bit fuzzy, and this lets us know that they are selected. However, we can also use what are called selection windows in order to select multiple objects at the same time.
