- [Instructor] Now that we have all of our plans drawn and our views set, we can go ahead and start adding some annotations to our drawing. Now, when I refer to annotations I'm talking about anything that is describing the construction of our drawing. This can be leaders, dimensions, notes, callouts, or any other supplemental information that's going to show us how to build this particular structure. The first one that we're going to tackle is leaders. Now before we add any leaders, I want to talk about the two different schools of thoughts about adding our annotations. In the prevailing school of thought right now is to use what's called annotative scaling. This allows us to place all of our annotations, the dimensions, leaders, and so forth into model space along with our drawing.
