Layout tabs

- [Instructor] Another interface element similar to the Windows version of AutoCAD are the layout tabs. These are tabs along the bottom of the drawing window, and allow us to switch back and forth between all the available paper space, or layouts, that we've created. Model space is always the first tab, and it cannot be renamed or moved. Next, is the plus, which allows us to add additional layouts. The next, are all of the available layouts in this particular drawing. They can be selected to move us in between each one. And they can also clicked and dragged in order to reorder them. If we right-click we get a couple of different options, including deleting the layout, duplicating it or renaming it. Perhaps instead of layout one, you'd rather this be called sheet one. Simply type in the name and press Return. A feature unique to the Mac interface is the layout quick view, found up here in the upper-left corner. This will show us all of the available layouts from this current drawing, and it will also display all the layout tabs of any additional open drawings as well. This is great for quickly jumping between two layouts on different drawings. Quick view also supports dragging and dropping to reorder the layouts, as well as all of the other options like renaming, duplicating or deleting. With these tools you should be able to manage your layouts like a pro in no time.
