Layer states

- [Instructor] Layer states are a simplified way of setting and restoring the look or the state of all of the layers in your drawing. In one state, I may want the layer to display red instead of its normal blue color or I may have a subset of layers that I want to turn on or off for demolition plans or another for construction plans. Saving a layer state allows you to easily recall the on-off state or the frozen and thawed state of every layer in your drawing, so I no longer have to go in and manually turn each layer on or off to achieve a desired effect. We'll find it just under the layer tools here. I'm going to click on Manage Layer States. Here we have the Layer State Manager dialogue box. However, I'm going to recommend that first we return to our drawing and double-check that our current layers are turned on.
