Dynamic blocks: Actions and parameters

- [Instructor] Dynamic blocks operate on what are called Actions and Parameters. Parameters are similar to dimensions in that they allow us to control the objects by setting limits on the geometry. Actions are similar to the modifying commands that we use like stretch, move, scale, and so forth, while being controlled by the parameter's limitations. The example we're going to work with here is a bathroom sink. Here I have all the basic geometry for the sink that I need including the counter. But I need the ability to change the size of the counter for different circumstances. So, first I need to make a standard block out of my geometry. I'm going to choose the Block Creation tool here, and I'm just going to call this "Sink". I'm going to select all of my objects here and press return. For the base point I'm going to use the upper left corner point that's going to be my insertion point, and the only other thing that I need…
