- [Instructor] There are time when drafting where we need to spread objects evenly along a distance or place objects at a specific distance from each other along a line. For this, we can use the Divide and Measure tools. I know it's a little confusing. We were just using the term measure in a different way in the last video with the Inquiry tools. However, I want to look at Divide first. Here we have a wall that I need to divide into three equal segments. I'm going to type in divide and press return. I'll select my wall, and I'm going to enter in the number of segments that I want. In this case, I need three equal segments. So I'll type three and press return. And it doesn't quite look like the command really had any effect, does it?
