Dimensioning your drawing

- [Tutor] There are a number of dimension tools that we have access to, and the ones that you'll use will depend on what it is you are dimensioning. We're going to start with the basic linear tool and then move on to aligned circular and so on. We'll find linear here on the dimension panel. So I need to pick the two points that I want to dimension, namely here and here, making sure that I'm getting the objects that points. I'll click again to place the dimension, and there we have it. I'm going to click the linear tool again, and click here and here to get the horizontal or the vertical distance between those two points. All I have to do is drag the cursor back and forth until I get the dimension that I'm looking for, and then click to place it. If I want the exact distance between these two points versus the horizontal or vertical distance, I can pick the same two points within aligned dimension and get the exact…
