Creating tags
- [Instructor] Tags are pre-made blocks that are used to call out sections and detail views as well as the title information for those views on corresponding sheets. So if I see a symbol on one page, like this section block here, I can know that the relevant section or detail exists on another layout in the drawing set. Using Sheet Sets in combination with blocks and fields, we can link and automatically number and organize these details and sections across the project. So, for example, I have the architectural plan open and if I go to the specific view, the Main Floor Plan, right click and click on Place Label Block and I can select it and place it right here. We can see it pulls the title, the view number, and the viewport scale from the specific view. Now the block itself is referenced and located up here at the very top if I click on the Project Information and scroll down. We can find the Callout Blocks and manage their location here.
