Creating blocks

- [Instructor] Let's start creating our blocks with a simple exercise creating a desk. I'm going to use the rectangle tool found here and I'm going to pick a point right about here. For the size of the desk, I'm going to type in "at" and I'm going to use 60 by 28 and press Return. Zoom out just a little bit so I can see the whole desk and I'm going to add another rectangle because I want this to be an L-shaped desk and I want to add another leg over here. So I'm going to use this as my base point and for the values, I'm going to type in: 24,-36 because I want the rectangle to form kind of in this general direction. I'll press Return, and there's my desk. Now I need to turn this into a block. I'll find the block tool here under the Block tool set First thing I'm asked is for a name. I'm just going to call this L-DESK. I'll select the objects, and now I'm asked what I want to do with those original objects. Do I want to convert them to a block, retain the objects, or delete them?
