- [Instructor] One of the first issues most people come to when opening AutoCAD for Mac for the first time especially is they've been using AutoCAD in Windows for years is how different the interface is. AutoCAD for Mac was originally designed as a very Mac-like interface but many users were thrown by that. However, with the latest release autodesk has redesigned the interface lately creating what I feel is a very interesting middle-ground between the original AutoCAD for Mac interface and AutoCAD for Windows. Along with the revised interface, autodesk has added a very often requested feature, the ability to import vector pdf's as AutoCAD geometry.
No more need to trace or approximate. These along with a handful of other new features will hopefully improve your workflow on a daily basis. So let's take a look at the newest features of AutoCAD for Mac 2017.
