- [Narrator] The Array tool is sort of like the copy command that's been hitting the gym. It allows us to copy our objects in a pattern creating a series of copies with set distances between them, or even creating a grid using columns and rows. We're going to to start with a basic grid, which is a rectangular array which we can find here in the Modify tool set. Select our objects. I'm going to to choose my star and press return, and I'm given sort of a starter grid pattern here. It's made up of different columns and different rows. I can adjust the spacing between the rows and between the columns just by clicking on the different grips. I can also enter in specific numeric values by typing in S and then entering in the values. So, between my columns, which are the vertical spaces here, I want these to be eight units from each other. For between the rows, I want them to be six units between each other, and there we go. I have my grid. I'll press return and I'm all done. With an Array…
