Aligned dimensions

- [Instructor] Linear dimensions will denote the vertical or the horizontal distance between two points, but occasionally, we need an align dimension of an angled face. If I were to try to use the linear dimension tool to dimension this face here, I would only get the horizontal or the vertical distances between those two points which is not really what I want. I'm going to hit Escape and then underneath of the linear dimension, we'll find the align dimension tool here. I'm going to pick the same two points, but now I'm given the direct distance or the direct measurement between those two points and my dimension line is now parallel to my angled face. Also, just like linear dimensions, I can choose the align tool and then press Return and now I'm able to just select an object that I want to dimension.
