Accessing the palettes

- [Instructor] The palettes found in AutoCAD for Mac are typically spread around the perimeter of the screen to allow for the largest amount of working space or quote, unquote screen real estate as possible. To see the palettes that are available to you, we'll go up to the menu bar under the Window dropdown and find the palettes listed here. We can check or uncheck these as we go in order to bring up different palettes. The palettes checked are the ones that are displayed and I can check or uncheck these as needed. But I found that the default palette set seen here are the most common. But if you find yourself accessing certain functions on a regular basis, like the Project Manager for example, you can simply click on it and turn it on. There are three classes of palettes: docked palettes like the tool sets, floating palettes like the Project Manager, and finally palettes that can be docked or floated. Tool sets are only available as a docked palette and can only be turned on or off…
