Accessing the palettes
- [Instructor] The pallettes found in AutoCAD for Mac are typically spread around the perimeter of the screen to allow for the largest amount of working space or "screen real estate" possible. To see the pallettes available to you go up to the menu bar, under window, and we can simply check or uncheck each of these windows to display them on the screen. I found that the default layout, seen here, is, typically, the most useful for most users getting started. However, if you find yourself performing certain functions on a regular basis like accessing the project manager you can simply add them to your workspace. There are three different types of pallettes in AutoCAD for Mac. Docked pallettes, like the tool sets over here. Floating pallettes, like the project manager. And finally, pallettes that can be docked or floating, those over here. Tool sets are only available as a docked pallette and can only be turned on or off.…
