Setting up a lighting plan
Let's start think about a lighting plan. Of course, if we start throwing lights and wires into our model without thinking about the display, this thing could get confusing really fast. Of course, we're not going to let that happen. This video will cover how we change our display to lighting. We will then look at the display configurations and make sure we're viewing the objects we want to see. So to get started, let's open up our MEP-Electrical-Lighting drawing. Let's change our display configuration to be Electrical Lighting. Let's zoom in and see what we've got. We now have a ceiling grid that's showing up. I'm going to zoom back out. I'm going to go to the Display Manager. I'm going to drill into Sets. I'm going to double-click on Electrical Lighting Plan. I'm going to go over to my Display Options. We're going to see what controls this. Device Type, Lighting is turned on. All the other power items are turned off. I like to keep switches and junction boxes turned on because they…
