Adding panels
It's time to find our electrical room, and throw some equipment into it. Since we already have some receptacles in our drawing, we need to know where their power is coming from. We do this, of course, by placing a panel anywhere in the building. This video will focus on adding a panel to our model. We'll then check out the properties of the panel, to get it ready to have some circuits added to it. To get started, let's up our MEP electrical drawing, or whatever drawing you're working in. I want to make sure that our workspace switching is set for electrical. Let's make sure that our display configuration is set for electrical power. On our tool palette, let's hover over. And this stock panel is our current palette. I'm going to grab Recessed one, 42 slots. I'm going to zoom in down here, and I'm going to find our electrical room. I'm going to Shift+Right Click, this time I'm going to go into my Osnap settings. I'm going to turn off Endpoint. And I am going to turn on Nearest. This…
