Adding VAV
Since we have a roof top unit in our model, we might as well add a VAV to our model as well. This helps get to the endgame. That endgame being our diffusers. The objective of this video, is to add some mechanical equipment, specifically VAV. We will then go the Properties Tools pallete and pick out a VAV that we'd like to use. Then we're going to copy the VAV around to create different systems in our building. To get started, let's jump to our MEP Mechanical drawing. Let's go to our Tool pallets and let's go to our Equipment tab. Let's scroll down til we find VAV box, and I'm going to go with the Parallel Fan Powered VAV, and I'm going to select that. Part size name is six inch Parallel Fan Powered VAV box. Again, you can grab any one that you'd like. I'm going to stick with the default for now. But notice, all the different VAV boxes we can use. My elevation's at 12' 7". I'm actually going to keep that. That's about where I want it to be. I'm going to click into my drawing area. Now…
