- [Instructor] You'll notice when you're working with AutoCAD LT that AutoCAD LT 2019 has slightly different icons and a slightly different interface to an older version of AutoCAD LT. Let's say AutoCAD LT 2018, or AutoCAD LT 2017. That's because with the 2019 version, it's had a little bit of makeover, and that's to support these 4K HD monitors that are out there now, which has a much higher resolution screen. So if I just jump across some of the tabs on the ribbon here you'll notice that the icons are quite bold, and quite colorful now, and quite defined, and that's basically all been set up in the 2019 version of AutoCAD LT. Now, it doesn't matter if the icon look a bit different. If you're using a slightly older version of AutoCAD LT, the icons will still do the same thing, they'll just look a little bit different. That's all. And you can still follow along with the videos in each of the chapters of this course. It does not affect the course content or the software whatsoever, and the files are saved in a format to allow you to use older versions of AutoCAD LT to follow along with the course as well. So if you do notice that some dialog boxes and some icons look a little bit different to the ones you're using, in your slightly older version of AutoCAD LT, don't worry about it, it's just this new user interface for the 2019 version.
