Stretching the desk and phone incrementally

- Our next job is to create a grip which allows us to resize the desk. Double-click the desk and click OK to go into the Block editor. In this case we need a Linear parameter. Note that this is different than the Horizontal dimensional constraint. They actually do something similar in the end by allowing you to change the width or height of something. But the parameter needs an action associated with it whereas the Horizontal dimensional constraint does not. So click Linear parameter, and then it says Specify start point. Click the endpoint right here, Specify the second endpoint over here, and the label location somewhere out of the way down below. Notice that we have an exclamation point, meaning that we still need to assign an action to this parameter. The parameter won't be able to do anything by itself. You need to drive it with an action. Notice that there are two triangular grips on this parameter. I only really want one so that we can adjust the width from one side. So let's…
