Spacing and breaking dimension objects

- Let's examine Dimension Break and Dimension Space, which are adjacent buttons up here. They're used to format your dimension objects. We've already broken some dimensions in previous videos. Zoom in down here and take a close look at this dimension with a value of 8.7. It's broken over here, but you might not have noticed earlier, it's broken here and here. It looks like this one below it is also broken. We should fix, especially this situation where the dimension line doesn't meet the extension line. Use Dim Break, and use the Remove option. Do that again on the dimension below to remove any breaks Now let's go back and reapply the break to each object. We'll handle them one at a time, though. But instead of using the Auto option, let's use Manual. With Manual you have to specify the break points. Toggle off Objects Now, and click two points to break the extension line at that location.
