Rectangles and polygons

- This video is about rectangles and polygons, two specialized polyline tools. You can find both of them on this flyout. We'll begin with the rectangle. As the icon suggests, rectangles are made by clicking two opposite corner points. I'll do that here. Very straight forward. I'll select the rectangle and you'll see that it's actually a polyline. That means that we have access to its grips, just as if we had drawn this using the PLINE command. We can then reposition these vertices if we want or convert straight lines into arcs and so on. So I'll press escape to deselect. Let's try a rectangle again and this time we'll use a different option. Let's try Fillet, this option here. Some people say filet, I say fillet. The fillet is a radius transition between each edge. So we're going to specify that distance here. I'll type in one enter and then I'll go ahead and proceed to draw the rectangle.
