Radius, diameter and arc length dimensions
- There are three specialized dimension tools for dimensioning arcs and circles. Let's zoom into the top of the frame, where we have these arcs and circles, and choose Radius. Click the inner circle, and you'll see that you have a radius value attached to the cursor, and an arrow that you can move around interactively. Notice that you can also move outside and specify the radius value out here. When I go outside, I get a center mark appearing automatically. It's part of the dimension object. You can control how that appears right here. We're looking at the mark. We can change that to Line or None. I'll go with Line. As is the case with all of these dimensions, they have too much precision. In the next chapter, you'll see how to change that in the dimension style. Let's assign a diameter dimension to this outer arc. Diameter dimensions come with the diameter symbol. And again, I'll change the precision.
