- [Narrator] We're staying in our objectproperties.dwg file and as you can see, we've got a little hinge, a little, sort of, bolt arrangement, and a keyhole arrangement there. And we're looking at the properties of these objects in this particular chapter. Now, in the previous video, I showed you how to utilize quick properties, which pops up whenever you select an object, whenever it's switched on, down on the status bar. You also have the bigger properties palette. Now if you go to your View tab, on the ribbon here, you'll see that you've got a palettes panel right there. It is expandable, there's a fly-out, and you can switch on your text window as well if you want to. Now, there's properties right there. If I click on it, that will open the properties palette. And what I can do, is I can click and drag, and I can move that palette around, I can dock it, and so on and so forth. So it's entirely up to you what you do with it.
