Opening up an AutoCAD drawing (DWG) file

- [Narrator] So once again here we are in AutoCAD LT and I haven't got any drawings for you at the moment from the library because we're going through how we open up files in AutoCAD LT and how we utilize particular file types to do that. Now you'll notice in the previous video we created a new Drawing2.dwg, by just going to one of the default templates available to you in AutoCAD LT. Now if I go to close that by clicking on the little crosshair in the File tab, you'll see that it closes that file and it takes me back to the Start tab that we had at the beginning of the last video. What happens if I want to open up a .DWG file this time, an existing file, instead of using a .dwt template file to open up a new drawing? Now I can do this in a number of ways. And the nice thing about the Start tab in AutoCAD LT and in full AutoCAD is it not only allows me to go to open files here, so if I click there you'll see that it obviously tells me that this folder is empty, there's no .DWGs in…
