The Match Properties tool in AutoCAD LT is extremely useful.…It allows you to match…all of the properties of a particular object…to another object.…What we're going to do is look at the left-hand floor plan…and we're gonna zoom in on this area here.…So position your crosshair, roll up on the wheel,…and you can see that we've got Room 111,…and it's a Meeting Room.…Now, just above that, can you see we've got…the Men's Washroom as well,…and if I hover over that text there,…it tells me that the color is by layer.…
If I hover over the 111 here, though,…you can see the color has been changed…to an individual color, which is color 71.…Now, I may want to match the properties…of this particular color, here, color 71,…to these two bits of individual text here.…So it's very, very easy to match the properties.…You go up to the Home tab on the ribbon,…and you go over to the Properties Palatte here.…You'll see we've got the Match Properties command.…So I click on Match Properties…and come into the drawing area.…First of all, it'll prompt you for the Source Object.…
