- [Instructor] We're staying in our UsingLayers.dwg file,…and what we're gonna have a look at now, are some of…the layer tools that are available to you, in AutoCAD LT.…We'll look at some of the more basic ones first,…and then what we'll do, we'll look at some of the ones…in the layers panel, on the home tab, on the ribbon.…So, when you're working with layers,…you've got a number of like, default tools…that you can use, where you can switch layers…on or off, in the drawing,…you can freeze or thaw your layers in a drawing,…and you can lock and unlock layers in your drawing.…
Now, let's have a look at the on/off first.…Now, you can operate this in two ways, you can do it…from the layer properties manager,…so there's the on/off there, the light bulb.…It's a bit unwieldy, basically, you've got that…great big palette in front of you all the time,…and you can't see what's going on in the drawing.…So, if I just close the layer properties manager,…I can also do on/off from the layer dropdown here, like so.…So, for example, I might want to, switch off the grid lines,…
